Around the end of August 2011, Ectomo.com kicked the bucket.

There appeared to be PHP errors, related to our Wordpress install, that wiped out the front page and made the FTP inaccessible.

Rather than spending days tracking down our volunteer webhosts, bothering them with emails, and then pulling apart an ancient and highly-customized Wordpress theme and examining its rotting viscera, Ectomo owner Eliza Gauger decided to take the opportunity to switch Ectomo to a far more efficient platform—Tumblr.

Ectomo realizes that older readers will have become set in their ways, and being forced to look at a Tumblr site may be, at first, an annoyance.  We welcome your input on this issue.
